Whale Rehab is a simulation strategy browser game where you role-play as a player of "Vota Orca", a free mobile card-based game with in-app purchases. Made in Unity.

It touches on the broad topic of micro-transactions, emphasizing some of the marketing techniques used to encourage in-app purchases while reminding the player of real-world monetary responsibilities.

The visual aspects of the game were deeply inspired by present mobile games with the popular feature of loot boxes known as Gacha. For that reason, the cards and content were designed to reference and parody characters from those famous titles.
